Mobile apps have given hope to millennials who are in search of love, and have made this possible with just a swipe. Although several apps match you by gender and age range, they do not include religious denomination, something that can be seen as an imperative to those trying to find a husband or wife.

David Yarus immediately saw an opportunity to create a new app when he first downloaded Tinder. He decided it was time to create a dating application for Jews of all denominations be it reform to orthodox, and voila – you have the Jewish version of Tinder called JSwipe.

Yarus’ goal was to help people find their beshert (soul mate) in a few simple swipes of your phone. He wanted “to make love free” and that’s exactly what he did. Yarus says, “JSwipe is more than just a way to find dates, it’s a way to connect the Jewish people, and keep our traditions alive.” And isn’t that what being Jewish is about?…#Tradition
